This is a high profile, very visible position with our company. You will office in Bensenville and call on targeted industry accounts throughout the Midwest. You will be selling high quality fastener products to original equipment manufacturing markets. Our only constraint to growth is finding truly skilled “A” players like you. The candidate we are looking for is experienced and has strong sales skills and strengths as well as a track record of sales success. To qualify, you must have prior sales success in fasteners or components to OEM’s preferably selling products in the following industries: Electronic components, medical components, industrial components, cell tower components, valves would be a definite plus!
You have demonstrated success opening new accounts, growing relationships and creating “partnerships” with companies in order to generate long term business, and lifetime value. You must excel at finding new opportunities and closing business in a competitive market where your products are competitively priced and viewed as a “commodity.” You have excellent communication and presentation skills calling on various “titles” in OEM organizations. You create a good first impression, command attention and demonstrate a high level of energy/enthusiasm.
You express ideas clearly, concisely and in a well-organized manner while engaging and building rapport with your audience. You answer questions directly and with substance. Here are a few more things we look for in a Sales Executive: You should be a self-starter, money-motivated, goal oriented, and passionate about sales and success. You excel at selling value, not price while being a problem solver to your prospects and customers. While we provide some leads, you must have the ability to prospect, qualify and open new accounts on a direct basis.
You should be able to travel within your local territory. You must have prior verifiable earnings of at least $50,000 (base plus commission).
